A week’s holiday

I was on holiday last week. Each year I go on holiday with my family. We’re often fifteen with my parents and my brother, my brother’s girlfriend, my mother’s brother and his family and a friend’s couple with their three children. Each year it’s the same thing, we leave Belgium at 3 o’clock because we must be in Martelange more or less at 4 o’clock.
This year we went to “Les Arcs” in the French Alps. We rent a big apartment with seven rooms and seven bathrooms, that’s giant.
We arrived Sunday at 13 o’clock and we unpacked luggage. Then we ate in a restaurant, the weather was beautiful. We walked in the village to digest because in mountain we always eat meal with cheese because that’s so delicious. In the evening we played card together and the younger watched TV.
The three first days we were skiing together except my cousin who was skiing with her friends, the weather was always beautiful, a cloudless blue sky. At noon we stopped on the ski slopes for dinner. After the dinner we were skiing the rest of the day until 17 o’clock. We returned in the apartment to take a shower. My mum and my godmother were preparing the meal every day in the evening. We watched TV because that was the Olympics game in Vancouver and the boys like sports, we really laughed when the French Marion Rolland fell after 5 meters.
Wednesday the weather wasn’t wonderful but all the same good. We were skiing between young. This afternoon was extraordinary. At night we went out, my brother drove my uncle’s car and we went to a bar. That’s really great. Thursday was exactly the same day that Wednesday.
On Friday the weather was really not good so we were a little skiing and at 15 o’clock we returned in the apartment to prepare the luggage because we came home during the night. We were very sad. This year was really a terrific week. The winter holidays are really my favourite holidays. Roll on next year.
