Let’s go to Disneyland! Get up a 5 o’clock. Starting La Roche at 6 o’clock. The way was good unless that the bus makes a noisy unbearable. In 10 o’clock we are in Disneyland, what a wonderful world. We made the Rolling Stones, Space Mountains, the turning cup, the world of dolls. The night we ate in the “Mickey coffee” There was a lot of vibe, every sing, dance with Mickey, Minnie…

After a little night, we go to Disneyland; there we made a lot of roller coaster very fast. So Amazing! We take a lot of picture with Mickey and Dingo. I’ve a revelation, after a big conversation with Mickey; we saw that he hasn’t teeth. At the closure of the park we returned to home. In the bus every slept. The mini trip was just FANTASTIC.

Today, we have a big match of volley ball against Jamoigne. We lost but that was a very great match, ours technique is better than before. This night I go to a party in a castle. “The cochonailles”.

That was a crazy night with the snow.

I'm very excited today because it's the "great fire" in my village. I'll serve the first with two other girls. After I go near the fire with friends. The bonfire is always great, we laugh, have fun, and one of my favorite events.

Sunday 14/02/10.

Today I'm at my grandparents in Marloie. We'll go shopping in Marche. I love shopping with my aunt because she is very nice! I found new clothes! It's very great!!!

Monday 15/02/10.

Today I started my homework in Dutch and French. It was a big homework in Dutch, we must read a magazine and make a list of vocabulary. It's very annoying, but it's over in 2 days. Tomorrow I'm going to Liège it would be great!

Tuesday 16/02/10.

Yeah! Today I was in Liege. I went to IKEA (it was the FIRST TIME) it's very big! After I went to Chinese restaurant with the family. And finally we went to see a movie: "Wolfman" is a film about werewolves! I really liked it!

Wednesday 17/02/10.

After a big day in Liege, I am resting! But the mistake is that at home we have a friend who is on holiday (Benjamin), he's nice, but speed and very crazy! And that's not relaxing! I finished my homework in Dutch! ouf ...

Thursday 18/02/10.

Today I did nothing exciting! I went to my cousins in La Roche. we walked, we laughed, shopping ... It's fun! In the evening I went to Hotton with a friend (Valentin), we went to the cinema to see "Persy Jackson" and then we had a drink. It was a beautiful evening!

Friday 19/02/10.

Today it's almost the end of the holiday ... I went in Marche to file a friend at the station. The holiday was very nice! But in 3 weeks is the carnival in La Roche! It will be very very nice .= D

I went to watch the soccer club Standard which played against Westerlo. It's was funny, there was a good atmosphere. They were really bad but finally the team won because they were the best :) (1-0). We took 3 hours to leave liege because of the snow. It was the carnival in Marche and Bastogne but I did not want to go because I was tired.

There was an accident between two trains next to Brussels with 19 deaths, it was sad. This Monday there was a fire in the chimney at my house before dinner, luckily was my father there and threw salt in the chimney and that stopted the fire.

I went with my mother en her godaughter Laura to Luxembourg to buy new shoes for me, but I bought two pairs ! I watched a little bit the Olympics games in Vancouver but I don't really like this, I thing it's boring. And I found a new cat in my garden, it's name is Guismo like the gremlins

Monday 15th February

Today I learned in French TV that there had been a crash between two trains in Halle. So it should be very serious! It was a terrible thing and I’m very sad for the victim’s families! : ( But itsn’t the first crash on the belgan tracks! For example the crash of Pekrot! What waits the gourvernement to do something ?


Tuesday 16th February

I Went to Marche today and I could see that the deforestation is everywhere! Every day, when I go to school, I can see the cut tress roadside! The deforestation is inside the news because of the Amazonian forest! Every day five football fields of tress are destroyed! It’s awful!! We kill the earth’s lung!

Since the start of the holidays, I wake up every day at 10 o’clock to see the summary of the events of the Olympic Games of Vancouver! I like to see it! I like to see the skiers, the medals, the falls... The falls often are vey impressive but fortunately minor! The skier’s speed is terrific! I have ever done that when it was the Olympic games of Pekin. This year, I hope a belgan medal

I learned today that one young belgan actress is nominated for the Cesar’s!! Waouh!
She plays in a film who happens in a prison! Good atmosphere! ^^’ She calls Paulinne Etienne and I think that we can retain this name! We can be proud of our young!

The American golfer Tiger wood apologizes publicly... Indeed he deceives her wife! This story is inside the news in USA because the sport is considered like a god! Now he follows a stage to stop his desires... I hope that his carrier is not break!

I'm really happy! Today it's the holiday!! It's really great. This week was really long and I was really tired, then the holidays are welcome.
After some hours....
In the evening I went on internet and I saw a really strange phrases: "The Flying tomato wins the halfpipe gold in the JO of Vancouver!" What is it??? A tomato in the JO?! Ok there is a big problem... I didn't know that there is JO for vegetables, but... Then because I didn't understand I click on the bond to see why they say that a tomato wins in the JO... In fact this tomato is call Shaun White. He is a star in the USA. The best snowboarder and his nickmame is "The Flying tomato". "Flying" because he is a snowboarder and his acrobatics are really fantasic. And "tomato" because he has got red hair. In the beginning I thought that he was a woman. He doesn't looks like a boy but he is a really good snowboarder.

I like holidays!!! To sleep late, don't to go to school... But I must say goodbye to all that... Today my mother said me:" In fact, Emilie, I've spook with Leon and you must go working during this week at the country cottage of the ski."
What?! Working during the holidays??!
I answered her (a little bit surprised): "This is new,... Since when did I say that I wanted to work?"
She answered me: "Yes, I know this is holiday but you can earn money."
(Sigh) GOODBYE MY DEAR HOLIDAYS... This is really boring... Especially for the homeworks. I wanted to make a little bit each day but it's missed...Still... This is not a big problem, I must just to modify my schedule.
I went to the country cottage to speak with Leon (this is the "boss" of the country cottage and a friend of the family) to ask if it's a problem if I don't work during the weekend because of my homeworks.
He said that there are no problem for him and that he understands. Then I'm going working during this week. But I'm not irrated to work... I was only surprised, me which wanted to benefit of my holidays...

Today I stopped working at 6.00 p.m. I'm really tired!! This work is tiring. It's truth, I don't must wake up really early (I begin at 10.00 a.m.) but stand up all the day is tiring and painfull for the feet... And it's a little bit boring.. But it's a work like a other and I don't complain me. This isn't especially complicated. And people are friendly. But I really don't like to warm the crunch-Mister and the pizza!! That takes an insane time!!! It's really boring, almost when there are many people who wait their drinks and their foods....

An other working day but today was less tiring than yesterday. There were less people. But today I heard a splendid accent!! So beautiful (it's for laugh). It was a man with his father and his mother I think.. (He is around 45 years old). They sat down just before the counter and I could hear them. And they were speaking about what they wanted to eat. And the man said: "I would take a hamburger." And after he has said to his father that the Americans eat everyday hamburgers and 2 liter of Coke and he said very proud "It's truth, you know?? I've seen it on the télé."
His accent! What's for an accent?! I retained myself to laugh. He said hamburger and télé with a accent from Liege of Brussels, I'm not sure. That gave something of the kind "Hammburgèr" and "Tèlé". So beautiful....

Today was a really boring day! There was no many people because the snow begins to melt, then I've wait all the day for only 100 people... I've work for nothing... Fortunately there were people with which I can speak. Tomorrow I think I can't work... The snow is very bad...

I haven't work today but I went to the country cottage and Leon's said me that they have a little bit working but no so much and perhaps that tomorrow he will close the country cottage not to damage the skis. It's bad...
Today I've watched a bad film. "Cyprien"... If you have the chance to look this film, don't look at it, you will miss nothing! It's really because I don't like to stop in the medium of a film that I looked till the end. That was boring. It's a French film with Ellie Semoun and that speaks about a geek which finds a deodorant that changes him into a beautiful man. Really stupid.

On Monday the fifteenth February two thousands and ten, there was an accident between two trains at Buizingen, next to Hale, a town near Brussels. This accident isn’t welcome in Belgium because there was already a storm at Liege fourteen deaths and two storm during one month in Belgium, it’s really too much.

On the next Tuesday, there were really too many questions and the biggest was “how did the train to make this accident?” On this day, all the countries speak about this accident and the Belgian news made a few interviews and we can hear the people’s fear. And I watched the television all the night for to be the first to have the brand new news about this storm.

On the Wednesday, I had to make the Buisson’s big fire but it was really a disaster because two Jung boys of the village made the deficient thus it wasn’t easy. Everybody did the best but though it was a disaster. I watched a debate’s redifusion, and I can say who said the good things at the good moment. Because be fore it was “saving soldier Ryan”.

On Thursday, there was a debate about the new car for the train’s company of Belgium and this car will equip with a braking’s system like the French train’s company. But for to buy they need money and the Belgian’s governments haven’t the necessary money thus it will be in a few years. And in the begin of the evening there was the standard’s match thus I haven’t seen the end of the debate on TVlux. The debate was about the network in the province of Luxembourg.

On the Friday, I haven’t seen the debate because I was sleeping, but Lionel saw the debate and he said that for the first of the week it was really interesting and for the first time all the administrators of the SNCB were on the plateau and everybody goes in the same way and they said that they aren’t quite engineers at the SNCB

I'm very excited today because I will be in the mountains in a few hours. I haven't done my luggage yet (I usually do this at the last minute). I hope I will nothing forget because I forgot my mobile phone last year. It was annoying because I had to ask the phone number of everybody again.

Monday 15th February 2010
After a very long travel, we arrived in the French Alps. The weather was beautiful: the sky was blue, the sun was shining and the temperature was about 10 degrees. After a good meal, we went to the pists. At 4 pm, we came back in the hotel. I took a shower, I read a book and I stayed in my bed. At 7.30 pm, I took the aperitive in the bar and at 9.30 pm, I came back in my room because I was sleepy.

Tuesday 16th February 2010
At 10 am, we were on the pists again. After 3 or 4 descents, my mother had legache so we had to go back but I decided to stay there to 3.30 pm. I took a pist to the station and then, I took a bus to the hotel. I went to my room where I put my swimming trunks and then, I went swimming. Before the main meal, I took a (cold) shower and after the meal, I looked at the Olympics Games in Vancouver.

Wednesday 17th February 2010
With new shoes, my mother was ready to go skiing. At 12 am, we stopped in a small alpine village called "Les Lindarets". This village has a nickname: the goat's village because there are goats everywhere during the summer. The weather was worse in the afternoon, there were clouds nearly everywhere but we only stopped at 4 am. I drank a hot chocolade and then, I went swimming. At night, I looked at the Olympics Games and at the Champions League.

It was my last ski day. It was also a classical ski day like the other ones. But there was a special event. At nignt, we went to the stadium to see hockey on ice. The match was very spectacular and I liked it.

Today, it’s one special day. I’m not at school but in Libramont, in the Midsummer's Day Community. Between laughter, plays and prayers, students of 5th have fun much. It’s very different one day of school. One learns with better knowing oneself, one speaks about many things,… It’s very instructive.


Wednesday 10th February
I’ve only 2 hours of course this morning, my geography’s teacher isn’t there but we’ve work for study…Today, I learn that Prince Philippe droved to 140 per hour on the highway whereas the maximum was 90. I find that really ashamed. with its job, it should show the example.

Thursday 11th February
What a today surprised!! At midday, I could turn over at home, there was a power failure at school. I thus benefit from this afternoon to advance me in my homework, and I’ve a first impression of the holidays! I will take care of myself, I read, I make a chocolate cake. In short, I profit!!

Friday 12th February
It’s the last day of school before the holidays! All the students are excited. The atmosphere is very different from the other days. Less merry, I learned that a woman died in Forrières. That frightens me a little because this small village isn’t far from my house…

Saturday 13th February
Holidays, finally:)
For me, they start very well, I spend the day to the University of Liege, for a meeting of orientation.
It’s really interesting. I discover the buildings, the schedules, the professors. It’s a very cool adventure!

Sunday 14th February
Today, it’s the St. Valentine's day. I spend the day with my boyfriend, we eat in a Chinese restaurant and we stroll under snow. It’s really a beautiful day.
The evening, it is large fire in La Roche. We go there with a lot of friends. It’s really funny!.

Monday 15th February
I decide to benefit of the snow. It’s cold but it’s really beautiful. I walk my 2 dogs in the village. They adore snow! They’ve fun as 2 small insane and it’s very funny to look at them.
Then, I prepare my bag because tomorrow is a great day…

Tuesday 16th February
The departure sounded! It is 6 hour of the morning and I am on the Place of Bronze in La Roche, I go in Eurodisney! :)
That made very a long time that I wait this moment. I’m with people whom I love much and thus, I spend one good moment. I hope that it will be well:) Now, it’s the end of my week But will the visit of Mickey be well? …

I was surprised by the chaos who be past on the Belgian roads. Many cars were stopped on the motorways because of the speed limits but in the same time, the prince Philippe was driving at 120 kilometre per hour !!!! I think that it isn't normal because the prince should give the example... More personally, on Monday we retired with our class to Libramont. That was funny, we learned how the brethren live, we asked them our questions and we did many entertaining plays. At night, we went for a walk in the wood near the monastery and I found that a little frightening !

We woken up in the monastery and ate our breakfast together. I liked this retreat because we had very good time together. But my most important memory was the conversation that we had with a friar during the meal because it was very light-hearted to understand why did he chose this life and how spend the brethren their time.

I learned that Greece is in a terrible financial crisis to the extent that the European Commission has decided to get together herself to speak about the land's future. In Afghanistan, 165 persons were killed by an avalanche in the pass of Salang. That's a tragedy for this land who is already affected by a war. In the Cap, the capital of South Africa, that was the 20th anniversary of the Nelson Mandela's release. I think that it's very important to remember all the throes that the apartheid has caused.

I saw that a snowstorm called Snowverkill has paralysed the East of the USA. It's important for the people to not forget that nature has full power and that we must take care of her. In La Roche we were too the clod's victimes. Indeed, the school's heating fell in failure and we had to return home at twelve o'clock !

Friday 12th February 2010
The event of the day is of course the opening of the winter Olympic Games in Vancouver event if there isn't a lot of snow in the region. On account of this, many helicopters had to carry the snow as far as the slopes ! The opening's ceremony was beautiful with the light's games and the magnificent costumes. But the ceremony was bereaved by the death of a slider during his training.

On the afternoonm, we went to the carnival of Bastogne. We had good time, the cortege was nice but not so that the carnival of La Roche. Moreover, it was when the Choffleux d'buses played that there was the best atmosphere.

Like every morning, I read the newspaper and the main title was: « When the local accent becomes an unavoidable thing for advertising. »
I read the entire article and I found that original because everybody has an accent. As for me, I also have an accent but I can’t hear it. I noticed it last summer, when I was on holiday. It was in France and a lot of French said to me: “I can’t understand you” or “Why don’t you speak normally ?”. I was shocked and I tried to explain to them that I spoke normally but they thought that I joked !
So, in this journal, they said that many companies use a local accent in their advertising to attract the people’s attention. (Like Robert Mailleux)
In conclusion, I find that amusing because everybody has an accent and each accent is beautiful and funny.

It’s 9 p.m. . I’m surfing on Internet and I’m reading an article about the swimming-pool in Marche. Yesterday, around 9.30 a.m., there was an explosion in this swimming-pool. Luckily, there are only two injured people. In fact, the swimming-pool was in renovation and apparently, an electrical apparatus was the cause of the explosion. All that to say that since one month, there are a lot of disasters in the world.
First, there is the earthquake in Haïti where more than 200 000 people died.
Second, there is an explosion in a flat in Liège. Here, there are 15 deaths and third, there is this explosion in Marche.
In summary, since the beginning of 2010, I find that the world goes wrong. In only two months, there were a lot of disasters.
Now, I’m going to hope that it will be better in the future.

Today, it was the St. Valentine’s Day but it was also the carnival in Bastogne? It’s midnight and I just have came back home. It was a pretty day. Moreover, I was with my friends. I’m going to describe this day:
First of all, I got ready at midday. I was wearing two jumpers and a par of tights under my trousers because there was a lot of snow. At 2.p.m., I left my house to go to Bastogne. The cortege began at 3 p.m.. There was a lot of music. Afterwards, we went to the marquee where the vibe was great. It was so a good day that I have never been feeling cold.

As I said Saturday, the world is going wrong. Today it’s also a bad day. Effectively, in Halle, there was a collision between two trains. The cause of the accident was not immediately clear but investigators said that it maybe would be the weather, a human error or a computer error. But we know that it’s because one of the trains didn’t respect the traffic lights. At the moment, we don’t know more about the deaths.
So, I think that there is not enough safety. Moreover, the Belgian national railway company’s manager said that if the trains had automatic brakes, the drama could have been avoided.

Today, I'm gone to my grand-mother...we have watch the actuality in tv! There is a strike in the shops "carrefour"...a lot of markets are closed! What a pitty!!! I've learned to that Herman van rompuy, the new president of european union, has been insult!!! And I think it's grave!!

So, in latin lesson, sandy and me work about Suétone and Tacite...it's great because we translate text, we compare their writing and we work about Tibere too, a great Roman emperor, in the 2 authors! The work begin 2 month ago...and that's a little boring in the end, but it's a very great project!! Later, we show our work at the class!

Today, I've english lesson and we have speak about gbl! It's very intersting! I think that drugs are horrible!! But we 've speak to about other addictions! Me,I'm addictes to listening to music! And I've discovered that a lot of student by my class are addicted to listening to music too!

Something unusual, an everyday item. I use it as a keychain…It’s Barbie’s plane, a technological wonder, a marvel of the world aviation… It wasn’t authorized because it’s blue sky! So, you can’t see it! Otherwise when I say a marvel of the world aviation, I’m serious!

Well, ladies and gentlemen, this plane that seems unpretentious presents a major innovation and, to me, a revolutionary innovation. Attention, please: retractable (collapsible) wings! An enormous technological innovation, isn’t it? On the one hand, its manoeuvring is simplified for parallel parking! But it’s also a saving of place in car parks. And then, especially in flight, well, in flight from the point of view of security, it’s great! ‘Captain, bird on your right!’ ‘My god, microlilight on your left!’ All obstacles are avoided. What are they waiting for at Air France? Frankly, it’s not difficult to add a little pivot with 2 nuts… That’s not going to make them not working properly, not to mention the fact that accelerations in flight are possible. In any case, on the whole, as far as I’m concerned, I’d have more confidence in a plane that can do that (moves arms), that’s how they fly, so far as I know…It’s by doing this, isn’t it? It’s an extraordinary innovation that enables us to eliminate the group ‘Ozone’. Well, Ozone is a group of 3 Romanians that used to sing on an airplane wing (singing) nouami…shut up!
Hello? Those Romanians are incredible! Well, in fact, obviously, it’s for a laugh (a joke) but I haven’t brought the plane for that reason; on the contrary, it’s for something serious. In fact, it’s just an excuse in order to denounce injustice. Because I think it’s the artist’s role to denounce injustice and I’m one of them, yes, I denounce, I’m not afraid of the FBI! Denunciation: Barbie, big liar! Why? How many places are there in Barbie’plane? At first sight, 4 or 8? No! There are 2 rows! We’d like to believe that. No, Barbie big liar! 3 seats! We’re expecting to find some people, a good vibe and we only have 3 crappy seats!

Really, I haven’t talked for a moment. We understand quickly: Barbie, Ken, the pilot. The pilot has got very long arms. But he does what he wants, it’s Barbie’s friend, we can’t control everything. On the other hand, it’s very well-equipped, comfortable. Everything! There are vending machines with coke, yes! Wherever Americans are, there are ice cubes! There are drawers, do you want a drawer?
